Set off by off-beat stuff--like taking my daughter to her first Brownie meeting, where the pastor's wife was the leader. I could not speak sensibly & my heart pounded & I broke out in a sweat. For petes sake, I knew her.
Sometimes my anxiety manifests as social anxiety---but this is more so when I am depressed, can't stand myself and fear the company of others. Isolation, I guess, a biproduct of depression....and I know, not really social anxiety.
I don't have problems talking to strangers. So I guess no.
