Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I usually am fine and even chatty happy in social situations .
My anxiety comes on me from out of no where.
That icky squeezy feeling in my stomach, then heart palpitations
Ugghhh
Usually if I am FORCED to go, I end up having an okay time (sometimes even a great time).
Most of the time I don't go, though.
I have a 25 yr college reunion Saturday and I am nervous the anxiety will keep me from it. I pray it does not. Today, I really want to see my old Physical Therapist friends!!
however, when im at a bar or a party and drinking, im a social butterfly n must talk to n touch every person in the room
Put me in a large gathering, formal or informal, and I would tend to clam up (too much going on) or drink to drop the inhibitions. All manner of things happen then. I've woken up in some very strange places and situations. Haven't really been to any shindigs since I quit drinking.
For the most part if there's nothing I'm committed to on the outside I'm a homebody at heart...least that's where mine is most at ease. It takes a lot to push me out of that comfort zone.
lol who wants to see me bald? hahaha. jk It's tough especially if you're known by a lot of people from the past where you live. Been in a few small towns myself in my day. Payton Place they weren't.
I have it to... I hate being in large groups of people.. In fact now I very rarely ever am..
I like the one or one or just a couple of people as well... Once I am around people I'm okay usually.. I just don't want to go in the first place or when I'm out with people i want to go home..
My new landlord/ good friend is going to help me to work on this
