I was at home online and glad because it was safe to cry.
I cried for his families loss, the worlds loss and for the realization of my own mortality. I have reached the age when people I have known of all my life are dying. Reminding me I will too someday die (but not today).
My son only 15 knew Robin Williams, from the Genie to the Birdcage and even his friends on tumblr knew what this days events would mean for the future. My son also has BiPolar disorder.
Together we have been moved to share online, in person, in the streets and from the mountains a message of hope. No one need suffer alone as those depressed feel they do.
Share with us a simple message of hope, a hug, a phone call, a phone number, something to reach out to those in need to let them know they are not ever alone.

Just like tonight. On the phone with mom and she had her TV on and the breaking news came on. Except that this time it was Lauren Bacall and thankfully it wasn't suicide.
Still, now I feel twice as sad.
Lauren Bacall, what a lovely lady, she lived a good long life and she lived it well. Sorry to hear she has left us. TCM will have a day of movies on her.
Those of us that were true fans would never believe any of these rumours that are circulating now. It is sad how some people can take such a sad event and taint it with rumours, especially now that the guy isn't around to defend himself.
