I was dx'd a few years back...2006, 2007....it's a blur to me now.

I think I'm doing better....meds have me more stable than I've been in a long time. But I'm not sure if I'm actually better or if I'm just so used to being this way?

Any thoughts?

I got my actual diagnosis just last week while in the hospital. I was a complete spaz and he was like "do u know anything about bp" and iki,f of laughed since i work in mental health heheh

back in 07 at the age of 27, but now looking back i have had it for yrs by the actions and behavior in my life etc. Now seem to have it under control as much as can with meds and supportive partner.

NO PREACHING AT ALL BUT FRESHLY OUT OF TREATMENT I REMMEBER VERY WELL THAT WHEN W (PEOPLE WITH A MENTAL ILLNESS THINK THE ARE FEELING BETTER AND STOP DOING ALL THE THINGS THEY ARE TAUGHT A RELAPS IS POSSIBLE.

I was dx'd after my inpatient stay In '97. I have been doing well since Feb, but these lasts few weeks have been very hard for me. I can feel the depression creeping back along with paranoid and intrusive thoughts. Pdoc was going to stop one of my meds this last visit, but decided to leave them be.

I was hospitalised on January 6 2001.

I was admitted cos I was in a state of psychosis.

Wasn't dx'd with BP1/Scizoaffective disorder until 2004 after repeated relapses.

First long-term hospitalization in 1995, I was 20. I was first diagnosed schizophreniform, but after a month in the hospital, they changed the dx to manic depression. I was there in a state of psychotic mania.

I was dx in 2002. I have found the med route to be a pain in the neck! I feel like a guiney pig a lot of the time. I've finally been taking of my Prozac since the depression let up, and had some minor cycling after. Now, I think I'm the most stable I have been in two years.

Praying for small miracles and hoping this LASTS!
