My cat is sick, not eating very much, and I've spent a fortune trying to figure out what's wrong. So far we haven't found anything wrong. Tuesday she will have an ultrasound and a GI workup. If those show nothing I'm going to have her teeth worked on, cleaned and if any need extracted have that done.
Anyway, last night I cried for fear of losing her. She's 14 and always been MY cat. We are very close. She follows me wherever I go and sleeps with me cuddled up to me in bed.
I can't remember the last time I cried. Probably a yr or two ago. What about you, do you cry very often? I wonder if my meds have me a bit flat. I don't think we can tweak them any because I'm pretty stable now.

Sorry to hear about your cat. I will say a prayer for a lot more quality time together.
As to your question- one thing I do well is cry. I cry when happy, sad, angry. It's just how I react with any strong emotions I am having. It's a good release for me.
I thinl if you are feeling stable I wouldn't over think it but some meds can contribute to that flat feeling- I would mention it to your pdoc.
Again- I will keep you and kitty in my thoughts.
i cried last week during a meltdown...was feeling totally like a failure in life and so depressed...cried, hard, for hours...felt totally spent afterwards.
I cried on Saturday because I'm just so overwhelmed and trying to keep a lid on my episode
My crying has a lot to do with my dose of Effexor. If I am on 75 mg or more I am not actually able to cry. I recently had my dose dropped to 37.5 and now I cry at EVERYTHING. Last time: 5 minutes ago when I watched the Budweiser Clydesdale commercial on the internet. My tdoc says it is because I get a chance to feel more when I am not medicated to the gills.
So sorry about kitty Becky - I hope everything can be figured out with the baby...Many hugs to you.
I'm sorry for all of you who are suffering.
