my cat loved me this morning, hes so pliable, lol he woke me up at 7 this morning for affection, thought it was because he wanted food so i fed him and he came back and woke me up again and again, until i finally wrapped him up in my arms at 11. i think he knows im sad.

Outgoing .... About 5 minutes ago when I washed my sleepy puppy's face and got her ready to go for the day.

Romantically, its been awhile since I really feel that kinda love, I would like to feel. I love my fiance, but the feeling isn't there so much, more of a respectful type of caring for the safety and well being of another person.

Does it need to be returned the way you feel it? I would guess no. It is the unconditional love that one feels romantically, but I believe the love felt with a man is more than sex...although the physical expression of the ultimate love would be the most profound physical act we can endure. "It's a art to live with pain.

My question to the original poster...when was the last time you felt this? Do you need confirmation from others that what you/we are looking for exists?

to add to reply 14, there are also different types and levels of love to consider. I wrote a paper on it once, because I didn't think I truly understood love at the time. At least romantic love. I have no problem with love for a child. My son is the world to me and I love hiim so much it hurts sometime. ((even when he is making his lego guy punch me in the face)) lol
