Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I'm sorry that you're going through this. I have been there more than once, at least until I found the right meds.
I hope you don't have to much trouble getting back on meds. It sounds like you are dealing with some mania.
I wish you all the best.
Don't be hard on yourself, my last time I had to have someone call and make the appointment for me. It was overwhelming for me just to call the pdoc office.
Please don't feel guilty like I did it happens to the best of us . Just do the best you can. Do what ever it takes to get your meds and things will turn around for you .
God Speed to You.
When I crashed off meds, I realized was that even when my mind is telling me that I am depressed and don't want to do anything, I have to push on. Go see you doc and be honest and get back up on those meds.
There is no cure for bipolar and it is easy to think we are "cured" when we are at a good level of meds and feeling great and normal.
Please don't beat yourself up over this and try to be kind and compassionate with yourself. Talk to yourself like you would talk to a friend going through the same thing. Yes, you feel like a mess right now but there is hope. You have experienced goodness mentally on meds and you can do it again!
We have all been there and are here to support you. There is no shame in feeling like you can and want to be "normal" without the use of meds. Once you get back on meds, even before they start working again, you will feel better knowing that your safety net is back in place.
Time to get back on track get back on your meds. Just keep pushing forward, don't let your mind drag you down. I fight those demons daily even with medication so I remember all to well what it was like non-medicated. Now the thought of not taking them scares the heck out of me!
Big hugs!!
((((BIG HUG)))))
Fresh air and music help me at least a little bit to get me out of the funk even for just an hour. And an hour out of that state of mind can do you wonders!! You might have to force yourself, but it's worth it :)
