My husband was just diagnosed a few weeks ago, which explains quite a bit.  Everything was great until last year when he was put on prednisone for a kidney condition.  Things were terrible.  After he came off and his disease went into remission, things have been great.  Then suddenly two months ago, he became manic.  He is such an amazing man, but when he is manic, it is horrible.  He is unrecognizable.  Everything seems great, and then suddenly I am the enemy and he is horrible to me.  He lacks any empathy.  Then when it's over, he feels so guilty and sad.  It's a rollercoaster and I am exhausted!!
