Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Try to figure out something else to do. Go exercise, read a book anything to keep your mind off of it.
Where do you normally cut? Arms? Legs? Do you do this with friends or alone? Do you like yourself?
I would also suggest you get to a pdoc and talk about medication. It says in your profile you are not diagnosed.......who are you seeing?
Examples:
Horseback lessons
scuba diving lessons
fly a small plane lessons
These are all things that you could get involved in that are exciting-heart pumping but safe if you follow directions and have a bit of luck.
Do you remember why you did it?
How deep did you cut?
I don't really feel comfortable going into details about my cutting experience. It just makes me want to do it more.
SoMething not harmful.
