For me, its angry. I get so angry, I want to hit something and scream but all I do is cry and self-hate.

i'll cry frustration a lot of the time.
or just overwhelming sadness. when im depressed for the first few weeks im like a cloud, just crying alll the time, before i just sat and cried relentlessly on a bus for 2 hours. was so embarrassing, that shoulder heaving stomach churning nose sniffling gasping cry that you just cant help. it looked like someone had died. but in fact the button had fallen off my favourite coat and it was the last straw.
things that put a lump in my throat....that's different.
the other day, i saw an SPCA thing that showed little puppies and kittens that were abused. that shit completely harshes my mellow.
Except for watching some movies. I cry freely at the corny ending of A-I Artificial Intelligence. I wept like a big time baby at the theater, it was very embarrassing for my wife and I.
It took till my sister reminded me it was the 3 month anniversary of the death of my father to realize why I was so broken. So right now, I would say grief makes me cry.
I am mostly over it, but I imagine it will come back again, maybe less and less as I recover from losing my father. But I am forever changed, because of the last months we spent together, and his passing. That is for sure.
Can somone pass a hankie,please? ;)
i am LOST.
Everything makes me cry, and I HATE it! The worst for me is when I'm overwhelmed and bottling things up....I don't wear my feelings well. So the moment someone asks if I'm okay, anything wrong--or even just shows kindness/concern--the levee breaks.
I can't even "pretend" cry without it making me really cry. I've embarrassed myself often.
Since being on meds, I don't cry that often, but when I do, watch out--I really let loose. There is definitely some self hatred going on for me, because I tend to hurt myself when I cry.
I cry when I am frustrated and angry or if I feel utter despair when super depressed.
