When i took wellbutrin I liked it. it gave me energy, helped some with anxiety. Not sure about its use for not smoking as I still smoke, but my sister took it to stop smoking and was able to quit while on it.

I was given wellbutrin a few years ago to help with depression. It made me nervous as hell. I told the doc I struggled with anxiety but must be he didn't hear me. Went right off it.

I also had chronic pain and was prescribed opiates for a while starting a year after the wellbutrin. When I decided to kick the opiates I was on clonodine and klonopin. They helped a little but not a lot.

I've taken it twice now (starting at 150 mg) and I feel pretty good. Tomorrow I move up to 300 mg.

Been on 450mg for years and it works pretty good. I do take abilify to help with the depression now though. When I first started taking it my cigarette smoking cut way back, like 4 a day. I never quit at that time.

I am on 300mg XR I take it in the morning because it does give you energy I think it's a very mild stimulate. I have noticed some weight loss and ciggs just taste nasty now.. So it might end up helping me quit smoking.
