During a psychotic episode I hear voices and saw weird stuff.

I haven't had this problem in a long time , as I am on a good med combo.

My Pdoc says hearing the occasional voice ,or music, is not usually a bad thing..Unless the voices tell you to hurt yourself or someone else

If you are hearing voices that are telling you to do bad things...time to call your Dr

No...I'm good right now. No voices on my current meds, but awhile ago I was on Zyvox(antibiotic) for a MRSA infection and couldn't take my meds for awhile because of possible serotonin syndrome, and the voices were starting to come them. I've since stopped the Zyvox and am back on my meds and am doing much better now. Thanks for your reply and concern.

I hear the voice of my Mother calling me,it happens when unmedicated and self medicating. I wish you the best with your current medications,sounds like you have it under control now.

I hear music most of the time.I hear scary voice and see dragons sometimes but on my current regime I don't hear or see anything not real. Been going on since I was 14 I'm almost 37 now

I hear voices but they sound like someone is playing music or talking in the next room. I can never make out what they say. It started as a child and I thought it was normal. Mom & I discussed it when I was in my 30's and she had them too. Another reason to think they were normal! The more stressed I get the louder they are. I usually turn on the tv, even at 3am, to drown them out.

Oh, and I hallucinate too during the "voices" episodes. Nothing major, just people or cats or dogs walking by. It's kind of annoying because I'll jump and the person with me thinks I'm nuts.
No, I never told my doctor. And I don't plan on it.

Dobie-I can't deal with tv or music during those times...it was so bad I was playing the tv so loud my husband made me get my hearing checked-turns out I just like loud-but nothing drowns out the voices.

Does anybody get the "voices" when something electrical is turned on? Like the air conditioner or someone is mowing their lawn?

Like a hum that makes my teeth itch (does that make sense)? Can't shake it...just pisses me off.

I get itchy teeth too!! I told my dentist and he said teeth don't itch.

Well my teeth do itch, especially when someone is messing with cardboard. Can't stand it. It's worse than nails on a chalkboard to me.

Touching styrofoam drive me nuts it's like nails on a chalkboard. The background noises do make me think I am hearing things,maybe it's common to all people.
