My daughter is currently in, inpatient mental health facility. She claims she wants out and I believe she probably does but it's the best place for her to get help.
I don't know if her boarding school will take her back though. Part of me hopes they don't as I'm selfish and deep down want my daughter to be with me. But she has better opportunities at the school. I realize the school is not for every one though and maybe my daughter is struggling because of the school. It's a tough call.
Also my son might want to come home if his sister does and he needs the school's structure that I can't give him. He does so well in the structured environment that I wouldn't take him out of it. Even though I really do want my son as much as I want my daughter. It's just his circumstances are different than hers.
Any how It's all wait and see now.
They put her on zoloft for now. I'm hoping they keep her longer than she wants because I want them to observe her for a bit before releasing her.
I still have no idea if she's making it up or really hearing voices but for now I have to let the doctors do their job.

So I have been having a lot of health issues and my cardiologist felt that he didn't get clear enough images of my heart in the office, so he wanted to do a Trans-esophegeal heart Echocardiocgram in the hospital. I was pretty nervous about it, because I've never had any procedures related to my heart or any other major organs. I've had knee surgery and thyroid surgery, but to me anything to do...

I know you're trying to love her, but I believe keeping it simple is the best way forward.
btw, I believe the American Education System does more harm than good to kids. Most kids have witnessed unstable family dynamics and that isn't taken into consideration.
I hope she will hang in until the doctor is ready to discharge her... Perhaps encouraging her to listen to medical advise and the what the doctor says might help a tad??
Great big hug for you and a blessing....xo
I wish you the best with both your kids and that they can be where their needs are met.
When you read certain responses don't you wish they took Dear Abby's advice - "Try being nicer than you are".
My uncle is going to flip shit when he finds out but I'll deal with it.
