Bipolar Disorder Support Group

This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Might look into that wheat-intolerant allergy. Google that... gluten interlance I think.
Best of luck.
The only reason he is my doctor is because he is subbing for the current practice I go to until they can get a new doctor. The last doctor left to be a va doctor for our area for more pay so we are currently doctorless because I go to a family practice. Anyhow I am not the only one who's complained about this doctor. He barely has any patients in his current practice and needed the money so he took up my practice because not very many patients can tolerate him and he undercuts LOTS of other patients as well so I am not the only one with this problem.
Docs dont like to prescribe anti-nausea meds over prolonged periods of time. If your nausea is severe enough to require a med you should be avoiding ALL solid foods until it subsides. You can drink thinks like ginger ale, tonic water, that might help the nausea but stick to a liquid diet. If you are able to eat solid foods with your nausea, it is not severe enough for an anti-nausea med.
It might be possible that the doc didnt want to argue with you about giving you the med so he threw out the statement he did. Most docs know that the pharmacist would be aware of any interactions.
Hope you feel better, you have been sick a very long time....xo
