Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Using Vraylar and Haldol at the same time carries the same drug interaction possibilities of Cardiac Issues that your Pdoc had concerns with in Zyprexa. Using an Anti-Psychotic with another different Class of Medication may give you better symptom control than doubling up on Anti-psychotics that are going to work the same on the same symptoms.
Tegretol has a pretty low side effect rate for most people. But mixing anything with Haldol, which has a very long and severe list of side effects can exacerbate the side effects of other meds. if they have similar side effects.
I personally don't take Benadryl, it's always made me jumpy and irritable, so I avoid it.
I get your thoughts on "will sleep sometime" but that interrupted sleep schedule and your brain not getting the "downtime" it needs can cause hypomanic/manic eps. Like your body, your brain has to have time to shut down and re-charge, When the brain is sleep deprived you develop reduced metabolism and blood flow in multiple brain regions Reductions in blood flow and metabolism are linked to impaired cognitive function and behavior.
So trying to get your sleep back a to functioning schedule, even it its just a few steady hours a night, should be a goal.
Take care,
Kat
I've always had conversations with myself and when I moved to living by myself they became more outloud conversations at times as opposed to "in my head"...I don't have a problem with that, and don't really care if anyone else does...I enjoy conversation with intelligent people! lol.
I'm on it with Seroquel now and at one time was on it with Perphenazine which is in the same category of drugs as Haldol
I tend to sleep in now to and am up late however I only really have to think about what I want to do at this point in my life … It used to bother me as I thought it wasn't the right thing to do.... Now I think it's the right thing to do for me
I get up at about 10 am and go to sleep usually between 1 and 2..... Big hug.....xo
It is perfectly normal to have conversations with other parts of you according to many professionals and the number is growing rapidly. Google voice dialogue and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy for a look.
