My wife always gets on me for spending so much time on the computer. But she spends all of her free time glued to the TV. Which one is a better pasttime?

I've always got both on. I also have a TV in every room in the house because I can't stand not having the noise going.

Well each has it's own advantages..TV..mindless entertainment
DS on the computer ,at least there is exchange of ideas...sometimes mindless:)

Well since I haven't owned a tv for 12 yrs I suppose DS is the best pasttime for me. Who needs tv when you have grandkids and DS!

I am the same way usually the TV is on when Im on the computer and for some weird reason I developed this thing that I have to have the noise of a fan. If my TV is off then I have music on and Im singing

I don't watch but an hour TV a day and that is in bed. I'm on the computer most of the day. I think the computer is the one I couldn't live without, but I also think it's clearly the more addictive.

I always have a TV on in each room that I am in.. I don't have to be watching a show, but I need the noise. I even have on one when I read..
The computer is always on and if my kids are not on it, I try to look up stuff..

I prefer the computer. I do not like the noise, so I don't even have speakers on my computer. That only sucks when I want to hear people's youtube posts. I wish Manchester United games were broadcast here. I got addicted when I was studying abroad. Well, I guess I have baseball, assuming the players aren't all doped up this season.

Both. The TV is always on whether I'm watching it or not. And I'm forever on the computer (darn these laptops anyway........ makes it so convenient for the couch!)

I saw someone mention a fan. I ALWAYS have to have a fan on in my bedroom even in the dead of winter. I'll just throw a towel over it or something. I despise total silence.......... it hurts my ears. Loud noises also hurt my ears. LOL! I must have very sensitive ears!
