Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I went to work this morning and then came home and made a journal entry. I did some other stuff
and then, long story short I tried to give myself the most 'productive' I could be healthy attitude
that ultimately lead to some really nervous manic energy. I am trying to talk myself down a little.
I am nervous about a huge upcoming dental procedure. It's implants from a couple of failed teeth.
It's going to be hugely expensive and just I don't like the idea of an operation going on in my mouth.
Work wasn't so good today but I've tried to not be a victim of it.
I've tried to systematize my outlook today, to try and be healthy. What I mean by that is I tried to keep rational
about just keeping busy and not get into feelings that made me feel powerless. I guess that perfecting attitude
turned into a really amped sense of fear once I started talking to someone on the phone about my appointment on Monday.
I guess I just need to accept that I might not always have a black and white, tied up with a bow sense of things. I just
need to kind of breath through this fear. Take one step in front of the other and do what I need to do. Deal with the gray area
and just get on with the day.

I'd let them know you feel anxious'when you show up. I too used tho work as a registered dental assistant a lot of it in oral surgery. There are so many things that can be done to enhance your experience....Speak up Mark! And good luck I'll be pulling for you!
Also like you I'm currently dealing with a 2000.00 bill for crowns...I don't know if your dentist has something called creditcare...you might want to look into that and see if the dentist offers this service...you make monthly payments over a year or 18 months at no interest...Just Make Sure You Pay Completely In The Time Frame otherwise you will get zapped at 26% interest rate from the STart!!!
Best of Luck today Mark :)
