Trigger? Should I be careful

On Tuesday, Christmas day I am going to see the Musical Les Mis. I have seen the broadway show 3 times and loved it. But the movie fills in the blanks for me. I know I will laugh. I know I will cry. Art is a powerful thing it stirs the soul.

With that kind of power over me any ideas how to cope because I can not avoid it.

I think it is quite okay to laugh and to cry, go with your emotions on how powerful this is for you. Take some tissues with you. If it touches you, go with it hun. Don't hide your emotions. Hugs.

I have been going through the motions for the past few days. I have been crying, laughing, and everything in between.

I have been mindful of what is happening and why it is happening, and I think if you do the same, you will be fine.

The movie has had some excellent reviews for the live vocal performances.Not strictly 'live' as some took over 40 takes. But it is supposed to have given it the added human dimension.

Ohhhhh, I so want to see that movie (hubby promised me that we would go this weekend). The other movie that I really liked was Phantom with Gerard Butler (that one choked me up too). I say go prepared, like others said bring the hankies, everyone else will be crying too so don't feel bad. Let us know how you like it!!
