Also, it really would be good to consider putting your foot down one way or the other because the truth is, underneath all the meeker feelings you have at this time, is big, huge, GIANT RAGE. You're at risk for going O-F-F!!!! For your own safety, you need a restraining order, kill him and bury the body discreetly, file charges, tell him to step off and don't DARE phuckin' calling/writing/visiting/speaking your name EVA, or SOMETHING because these feelings won't stay down forever.
I'm a "survivor" [eye roll] myself. I am totally speaking from experience. I told the ones in my life to never try to contact me again or I would fuck them up. There have been no attempts to contact me since. They are afraid of me now, and they damn well should be. So sorry that you're going through this, Zany. It's hard enough to deal with the flashbacks and sexual dysfunctions it can cause w/o having to try and deal with the bastards face to face. You don't owe him a DAMN thing.
Contact hospic and/or state assistant elder care program.
Hire someone to meet her daily needs. The state offers such services for low rate and for free- which depends on person income & finances.
Make a visitation schedule. and when its your father day and time to visit simply go shopping or whatever - just leave until 5 minutes after his schedule visit time has ended.
I assume theres a couple of people who reside w you and you have been appointed over your Granny medical care.
Maybe everyone can work out schedule where ea have certain day or so many hrs per day to care for Granny.
Maybe you could even work out visitation schedule and work schedule were someone other than you will be at your home on the day or days of your father schedule visits.
I cant recall names of Gov programs that assist w state programs that offer in home care service and cleaning service and they have difrent shifts and 24 hr care,they can provide bths, do errons,cook - serve and feed if needed, clean house do bed laundry and her laundry etc...
Theres even an elder care program where they will bring and give her 2 wk supply of hungery men tv dinners w drinks and bread and brackf. stuff. they will bring food to her every 2 wks. again based on her income she might get food service for free.
Granny and her own children can share the cost of in home care service that also offers cleaning service.
Its her money, help her spend it on her self.
