Trazadone

Has anyone had experience with Trazadone? Works well for sleep but makes me shakey. Seems to make me weak as well. Other drugs such as Geodon give me possible insomina.

Trazadone helps me, but I've heard from others as well that it doesn't help them.
Just luck of the genetic draw I suppose. Whatever your make up there's a chance
some will help and some will not.

I've never tried trazodone but my father-in-law uses it for sleep and it works well. He doesn't have side effects, but everyone is different.

It doesn’t help me at all. I tried for several weeks for sleep and nothin’ unfortunately! For others it works great!

Trazadone, from what I recall, sent me into a full manic episode. Im still.ashamed of what happened while I was on it. I refuse to take it.

But I know everyone's body is different, so I hope it helps you. Just be careful.

I can't stand Trazadone tbh. It completely wipes me out. I really hate the way I feel in the morning.

I took it for years as a sleeping pill. It stopped working though and
gave me a massive sleep hangover

I use Trazodone and love it. I've found that the main way to prevent a sleep hangover is taking it early enough in the evening. For me it takes about two hours to take effect and about nine hours to wear off. When I need to be up at 8 am, I take it at 9 pm and make sure I'm asleep by 11 pm. When I'm in a mania it's the only drug that allows me to sleep at all.
