so kind of a odd post but i have been thinking quite a bit lately about what im going to do when i finally become an old man like late 60 early 70ish type thing and i wonder if my mind will still be intact by then cause there are some days now when i can barely string a sentence together without going completely of topic and no one will know what im talking about or i will get midway through one and just have the strongest urge to attack anyone or anything within reach see i have add, bpd, and bipolar so i have to exercise a lot of self control from one moment to the next even trying to type this im getting very fucking angry at my own typing speed being so damn slow but i digress so my question to you in this giant run on sentence is how do you think you will cope with your so called golden years? cause if right now is any indication for me i will be dead by the time im 65

Everyday I feel more and more sick. Being in pain every day, I've learned to disguise it. So well that others don't believe my pain when I speak of it. Needing help but only receiving negative responses, I find my way but pay for it later. I absolutely need the rest but there's pressing things to be done.

Ugh my depression is really being triggered by the grief of losing my mom. Ugh it sucks. I wish this pain would leave me already.

No thank you! Yuck! '
I already have too many problems I'm not allowed to age.
My concerns are with my heart, with mild diabetes and with the lack of muscular strength in my feet and arms.
As long as I don't look like the wicked witch of the west, I'm good.
i don't mind. death is not a scary proposition to me.
You have bpd as well as bipolar- there's definitely major hope you can put the worst of bpd well behind you if you tackle it now. Hope you're getting help.
Seriously, worrying about being old is a pastime of the young. It is so much better when you get here. I have all kinds of illnesses, and I would not trade it to go back to being a madwoman with a healthy body.
I also work with the dying and demented. Strangely, many are very happy. I talked to a women this week who was 95 and reflecting on what a wonderful life she had. Now, I admit she told me the same stories several times, but she was at peace.
Hang on and keep up the exercise. And do get help for the other issues. I was very angry even a few years ago, and it is mostly gone. I am happy whether I live or whether this body claims me and takes me "home." I have great hope that no matter what happens, God is in control. That is what gets me through the day.
