I feel bad that sometimes I don't reply to threads on the board. Sometimes I don't have any advice...and sometimes my answer has already been posted.

I don't want to seem like I don't care. B/C I do care. Should I post my replies even if I don't know what to say, or it has already been said?

What is the proper thread etiquette here? Is there such a thing as proper thread etiquette?

I'm so confused.

I think if you feel strongly about a topic, you should post your feelings even if someone else has said something similar. It reassures both the OP and other poster.
If someone is in a bad place, the more people saying almost the same thing the better. We can't give too much support.
And Chuggs, so glad to see you posting again....lots of us missed you! And the others were being jerks (they didn't read rule #1...LOL)

Ok, where the hell do you find how many members are on this board. I have been looking for that like for weeks! Didn't want to ask anyone because I'm suppose to be like computer literate! And ya, I've been here a while, just didn't post much my first year. Took me a while. Now I'm in full swing, so to speak.

My number could be off since I found it so long ago, but what I did was go to the members list, count the number per page, the multiply that by the number of pages of members.

So long as you aren't personally attacking anyone I think pretty much anything goes. Just typing your support on a post can be a help, even if someone has posted something similar, after all we all need to know that we are been heard at times.

Post if the mood strikes you but if not don't feel bad. For me, some threads just don't move me in a way I can respond. As for responding to something that has already been said, as someone said, sometimes it does just reaffirm a point.

And Chuggs, I've been around here for a long time too, glad your back and posting and responding more. Hopefully things that were bad for you have changed quite a bit as have the groups of people around here.....
