I have been through many cocktails and finally have a real good one thanks to Abilify

What med has worked the best for you?

Oh, I forgot monthly B12 shots and bunch of other non-related prn's for stomach and such.

Abilify and Lamictal are my staple meds.

Good ol' Lithium makes me happy and makes me exercise so as not to gain weight.

But Risperdal is the trick for putting the brakes on a manic episode

lithium....all the way...and celexa, also seeing new pdoc thrusday about perhaps incororating an anti-psychotic.....i think as needed since i the lithium keeps me pretty safe from the danger zones...hugs

Im on Lamictal and seroquel it works good for me. I went off the seroquel and got put on Abilify and I totally bottomed out so now back on seroquel

Lithium + Lamictal + Seroquel + Klonopin. I'd love to get off the Seroquel and try Abilify in place of it (if I needed an atypical...)- Seroquel has too many side-effects for my liking, but I've been on it for over 3 years and it's like a trusty friend. Or an old rotten blanket I can't get rid of!
