I know a lot of ppl Use music to help with both mania and depression. Don't get me wrong I like music and minored in it in college. For me it is TV that helps me with a reality check. I always love comedy and the sad movies. (not much a fan of horror).
I used to work from my car daily and when I was younger got to missing the sound of other human voices just talking so now I am a big news/talk radio fan. especially when I drive. But to relax at home too.
Anyone else prefer Television over music.

I set the box to record them all. It was ok because I didn't give a damn for any of the characters and their deaths were quick and easy with no impact on the next episodes.
Occasionally I listen to music, usually while I am doing housework, but find myself too busy to give it my full attention. Besides I share this house I am living in and don't want to impose my tastes in music on my partner.
When I get sick I'll listen to lots of music...just blare it and dance around. It's one of the ways I know that I need help.
