Changed my attitude instantly. Not that I was hiding, it's more that I didn't want to be in her face about feeling bad, suicidal, whatever. Now I make NO assumptions (that she knows I'm sad, suicidal, etc.)
the new therapist and pdoc i have, i am completely honest. i feel that i am making progress much quicker. it actually feels good.
These are not regular thoughts for me!
I was absolutely terrified to tell the pdoc that I was having THOUGHTS, just thoughts, of committing a murder. I was afraid that I would be in HUGE trouble of some kind.
Well, I told him anyway, he prescribed an anti-psychotic, and I really have not had any side effects from it. I don't get the thoughts like I once did. They were all-consuming before.
I think it's verrrrry important to be as honest as you can, because more than likely, it's just going to be a meds adjustment, rather than a hospital stay.
