At the second hand stores you will find stacks of electronic keyboards for real cheap. I am glad I have my acoustic piano also, but my electric corner is mostly ex--Christmas presents.
Couldn't live without my instrument therapy. I used to call it "music therapy" but these days music therapy means listening only. I thrive on the participation. Don't care who is or is not listening.

just borrow/rent/buy your own instrument and go for it til ya find the special teacher, don't be harrd/too critical on your beganing efforts....Rome wasn't built in a day..........though it was torn down in far less time due to doubt/inflated ego.
