After she accepted her award, the last thing she said

after a brilliant speech was quoting her friend "Princes Leia"-

 

"Take your broken heart and make it into art."

I was very touched by her speech! Empathy and grace, in a world that needs it.

I am really nervous about the things the new president is going to spew without thought....because it's not funny or macho...it is heart breaking and frightening.

It was amazing to see her emotions as she spoke to so many people. For someone like me, i feel her passion. I have always been a believer that we all are here for a reason. There is always something that we could do.professionally that would make our hearts content.
