I can relate to what you mean - If I don't stay occupied, I can go from bored to true maniac.

Try to engage her in activities you enjoy that would be more beneficial. Buy her a copy of the NYTimes and share REAL LIFE together.

I've had a similar problem with my life. She refuses to work out or do anything other than watch tv or play on the computer when she is not working. I 'm amazed she makes it to work at all.
She is also a big fan of big brother and similar shows and tries to talk to me about them all the time.

It can really get annoying when all they can share with you about their day is what they saw on big brother espically when I could care less. I just wish she would find something productive to do

but big brother is productive to her. maybe you could respect her choices and see it as a hobby of hers. if you really dont care for her then I can understand but otherwise what was it that made you marry her in the first place and re-kindle it. big brother is a big deal to a lot of people

maybe what will work for you is to tell your honey that you will watch bb with her if she does something you want to do with you?
