So I feel like crap. I have a horrible cold.
I had an interview yesterday for a job that pays 2.50 an hour more. I went to the interview feeling like absolute hell. But I am desperate. I am grateful to have a job, even though it pays so little that I can't afford to eat. But my bosses are AWFUL. I am NOT paid one cent overtime even if I have to stay 20 minutes late because I'm told I "have to" my bosses are NOT organized and they wait until the last second and then demand I stay and do something that "has to be done TODAY" Well I went in today as awful as I feel and this morning that there was info that HAD to be done TODAY. she told my coworker to have the info to me by 2. At 3:00 I said something to MY actual boss about it. I told her I needed the info asap because I HAD to leave at 4. she got me part of what I needed so I entered it in and I left at 4:00. I don't get breaks, only to go to the bathroom. I am told I have to work through lunch (they call it a "working lunch") oh yeah...and I'm expected to keep the office clean. Taking out trash, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the bathroom. And I make MINIMUM WAGE. if I were able to stand for long periods of time, I would've been gone already. I'm tired of being abused. The whole environment is toxic. Emotionally and financially. The ONLY saving grace is that my bosses and coworkers are not in the office everyday. And when they aren't there, I do as little as possible. BAD, I KNOW. ..
So.....there's that... ..=(

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

I can tell you that unless you are paid on a Salary basis it is illegal in every State in the U.S. for you to be expected/told to work over 40 hours a week and not get compensated at time and a half. It is also not legal for your employer to not give you breaks or a lunch if you work an 8 hour day. Your employer is required to give you a 15 min paid break for each 4 hours that you work, and at least a 30 minute unpaid lunch.
I would very strongly suggest that you make an anonymous call into your local "Employment Security Office" and report these infractions. Because this is wrong for you and every other person they are doing it to.
I hope you get the other job and its better for you.
Take care,
Kat
I'm not sure if you have BiPolar or not, I've not seen you around here, but in reference to the very confusing post you wrote.
You wrote, "So I wrote, maybe you should try not taking the drugs a few days,... Just sit and contemplate on the abundance of it all" That kind of advice to someone who has BiPolar is very dangerous it can cause severe medical issues and severe psychological issues. There's a reason that Pdocs wean and taper patients off of Psych meds.
It takes a while to get the medication cocktails right, and yes sometimes you have to deal with Side Effects, but that's what you do...you ride them out, because the effects don't last forever, but he meds do help you get your life Stable.
God and Bipolar can coexist in the same world, many of us believe in both, but I implore you to not tell BiPolar patients to just stop taking their meds, because that can cause a whole bucketful of additional problems.
Take care,
Channel it, baby, channel it. Get picky about it. We spend entirely too many hours at work to be unhappy with what we've got. Sending lots of hopes for an upgrade in the employment situation.
