Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
so depressed just struggling to do everything. Just getting out of bed is difficult. I have noticed that I am worse at night . I don't know why that is but has anyone else noticed that when they are depressed . I feel my best when I am sleeping because I don't feel anything just being awake is tough . I hate feeling this way. Just trying to get through another day. I find this new site so impersonal. I want to go back to the other site. I feel like all my friends are gone. Do you feel that way also. ......M

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

The board is very impersonal compared to the old one. I think I can count on 2 hands the friends I have who are from the old site, and are active. That leaves the majority not here and I miss that. I don't feel the sense of community here either. But it is what it is, if it wasn't for these few friends I wouldn't be here either.
I know you are in a hard situation. All I can offer is my continued support. I know its hard, but please try to put yourself first.
Try and hang in there
(((hugs))) xx
Even when I am working nights and sleeping during the day, I feel most everything more at night. I support the theory that there are fewer external distractions at night when most of world is sleeping. Everything is more noticeable when you lower the general activity levels. Insomnia is another subject entirely to this shift worker. Put insomnia with the heightened awareness of "The Bewitching Hours" and . . . Ouch. . . Chaos sandwiches, anyone?
But that is me. . .
Hope you feel free to sort what it is for you here in this forum, Penny. Welcome aboard.
I struggled with the new site for a while however I've been on it since March so it's now just DS to me... I would like to see a couple of things tweaked and we're still getting more things added or in the works.... Big hug....xo
sorry to hear you are suffering so much yikes! You have come back and that's wonderful.
Take care of yourself, eat some protein, take some deep breaths ((((hugs))))
But if I wake up depressed, especially day after day, that is time to take a bit of an AD. Because it doesn't clear up on its own. Technically, I've been depressed since Feb. 2015. when my RA meds failed. I just hate the constant pain. Although lately I am feeling better in my pain, so it may be time to wean off the 1/4 pill of Wellbutrin SR?
