Being the spouse of a bipolar sufferer is as difficult as the sufferer themselves. Looking for "spouses only" for support and encouragement. Am looking to communicate with others who can relate to the stress, strains, & difficulties of being married to someone with bipolar disorder. Would like to share coping skills and techniques.

I have in home care service which is benifitual to us both and allots him time to go fishing, to work, peace of mind and so that he can take care of his over all well being. This provides him normal healthy life.
If Ds doesn't have support group for care assistance and spouces - you could start one.
Am not even 25% sure why anyone would hitch thier wagon to physco patient thats inside or as an out patient of mental health facility - center.
