About 2 months ago I decided with my family doc and my pd that I wanted to stop taking my meds for bp.
I explained all the awful side effects I am getting last couple of yrs.
When I first started meds 10yrs ago the benifits outweighed the side effects, but now that is turned around and the side effects are outweighing the benefits.
I know this is risky, but I feel like it is my last chance at freedom you know.
I only have 3wks till I am off of everything!
But now I am struggling to get thru each day.
I am having a hard time, just wana quit life, but I have 2 beautiful grandbabies I want to see grow up, so I stay and struggle with no support but here. Hope I make it through.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

What if you stay at a reduced dose for a while? Maybe then the side effects will ease up, but you can still get some relief from the bipolar symptoms. Are you working closely with your docs? Maybe its time to get in for a visit. That would be a good alternative than to throwing in the towel (on life) altogether.
Please hang in there and don't give up. BP is a battle at times, but it can get better.
((((((((hugs))))))) and hope,

Very low doses of BP meds ?
In any event, I'm sending you hugs and hopes that things level out some for you

But I also believe the lowest dose to manage the symptoms is always the best.. please remind yourself you do have options in the struggle.. I wish you well.. please don't quit life... xo
I cycle through very deep breaths (quietly and to myself) to get more oxygen through my system. Something is wrong, and hopefully a little free time AND more air, will defuse every situation. Most issues can be solved through a level head, and deep thought.
Best of luck, and god bless you, everyone.
