Spiral Into Depression

Sure got to love spiraling back into the depression stage. On top of my own emotional issues, I am dealing with my grandpa being in the hospital trying to work on my codependency problems, my struggling marriage to an "alcoholic/addiction" thankful he is in recovery but no one said that would be easy either. Most importantly trying to keep my head above water to breath so I can be a good mother to my son. I am lonely, my husband is trying to be understanding but how do you burden him with your emotional problems when everything is about his recovery. All my friends people are so busy, how do you just chime in with your "chaotic BS" IM JUST IN AWE OF HOW LONELY IT CAN BE WHEN YOU ARE DEPRESSED!!!!! SEEMS EVERYONE CARES ABOUT YOU WHEN YOU'RE HAPPY AND UPLIFTING TO THEM.


Unreal. I am new to DS. I hope I find some kind of friendships and comfort on here I'M ABOUT TO COMBUST!

Hey there. I'm no stranger to depression and the loneliness of it. It is true people are not understanding, the normies at least. Glad you came here to meet like minded people. Welcome. I'm married with children so I get trying to carry all of that while trying to climb out of a pit yourself.

Greetings and Salutations, diane!! Welcome to the group! Yes, as SunCloud said, here's a sweet place to be around people who "get you and it". Depression is the pits - no doubt. And it is interesting that people shower you with love when you're up and smiling and happy -- but perhaps that's because that's when THEY like being around you.
It sounds like you've got an awful lot on your plate right now. I hope you have a therapist so you have someone in whom to confide and share. I'm married, have a teenage son who just entered high school, have some annoying and painful physical issues, and love to be here. It's like "Calgon-- It takes you AWAY!". LOL!
