But if you could opt to be perfect would you?
If there was a scientific way to reprogram humans to avoid negative behaviors do you think it's wrong to implement it?
Also if there was a way to increase every one's IQ is it ethically right to do so?
How do you feel about prisoners being allowed to opt for a treatment that would help them avoid negative behaviors as apposed to doing jail time?
In other words if there was a way to improve all humans to an almost perfect state of mind with in human limits and level the playing field is it ethically right to do it?
I realize that the term perfect is subject to opinion. I'm not talking about a perfect as in some kind of godly sense but in a sense that your mind or brain would be optimized to it's full potential through some type of scientific method.
Do you feel that this would interfere with free will assuming we actually have free will to start with?
Even if it interferes with free will do you have a right to stop some one else from undergoing such a treatment if they chose to?

I think the world needs a certain amount of dumbshits and if we artificially screw with the balance, we're probably in for trouble.
Now, if we implemented some type of competency test for parenthood, I might be all over that.
