I just got back from social services. I had to fill out alot of paperwork. I had to fill out a sical assessment paper. What kind of work I did in thepast why I cant work now what illnesses I have what meds I am on ect... Anyway the lady was very nice and very helpful to me. I didnt understand a few things and she explained it to me. I told her I was with out my meds for awhile and still am for some meds. I have not taken my diabetes or thyroid meds for like 8 months now yey bad ne owell I cant afford it.So she is going to try to talk to the head person to put a rush on my paper work so I can get my coverage. So we will see what happens. She also told me to apply for SSI which I think I did once but was denied. She told me to keep appealing it time and time again and eventually hopefully you will get it. It can take up to 2 years though she told me. So baisically she told me I got the medicaid it is just a matter of preccesssing the paperwork now. It is not ging to be much but better than nothing Like I say. Every little bit helps. The lady alsl gave me a list of providers that take medicadi, which is not all that much so I dont have many to pick from. So anyway,at least I got the ball rolling now so to speak. Check that off my to do list. I felt so stupid this morning though some simple quetions I didnt understand,is my meds making me stuipid or it the biploar? owell have to go now more later on.....

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
The big thing is, ANOTHER ITEM OFF THE TO-DO LIST!
Go do something nice for yourself to celebrate.
When I did go on ssdi I got Allsup.com abd they did 90 percent of the paperwork. And only took there money when I got SSDI.
I don't know if they have pp like that for medicaid. Maybe you could ask the woman that?
Yes, it can take a terribly long time to get SSDI, but not always!!!!
I hope that somehow, yours makes it through really quick!!!!
Hahahahahaha!!!! 'Feeling stupid' because of that stuff!!!?
Going through the application process for SSI and SSDI is like doing taxes!!!! It's horrible!!!!
It's so overwhelming that even the simple stuff starts tripping you up!!! I think almost everyone feels that way about some of what it takes to get on it!!!
Sigh. I got 'dumb' before I was diagnosed and treated, so I know the Bipolar Disorder can do it.
And then a lot of the meds can make you dumb, too.
Double whammy!!!
Good luck!!!! I'm glad you've gotten this far!!!!!
