sorry to hear this. when me and the hubs are both going through it at the same time we sit down and talk it out with one another. communication is the key. I hope this helps hugs!!

Thanks...she's still depressed. The problem is that she won't talk or communicate. it's like talking to a brick wall. She's not angry, not abusive and not vocal. It's just a big wall of nothing. I'm trying to be patient and continuing to be as strong and stable as I can. It's just so hard. :(

I have big antenna that pick up on other's moods easily. It ran me ragged trying to buoy myself and everyone else. I decided it was okay for others to own their own moods and I didn't have to absorb them. I envision myself cloaked in a protective film that allows in everything except negativity, gloom, despair and dread. It's not 100% fail-safe but it's very helpful. What is your wife doing to treat her depression?

jfulk- when I'm in a depression I can't talk. I forget that I even can. It never dawns on me to talk to someone. She might be experiencing the same thing.
