So I screwed up big time ....

I failed 3 courses in university ( architecture major ) which means I won't be able to advance this year to the next , I'm stuck in year 3 . We don't have credit hour system by the way ( how stupid ! ) .
Normally I would shut down and lose hope but I recently attended this seminar about life challenges and I'm going to try and talk to the dean to make an exception for me ( we don't have college disability services either ) . The chances he will agree is almost null but I'll try anyway and I'm kinda proud that I will .

Do not give up. I have been a practicing architect for 40 years. I am bipolar 2 and the really good work, the satisfying designs have all been while in hypo manic state. I have been lucky that the depression has only been a serious ( suicidal ) problem a couple times. If you can work through this and survive school, you have the opportunity to have a very good life.

I was pretty nervous about it, because I've never had any procedures related to my heart or any other major organs. I've had knee surgery and thyroid surgery, but to me anything to do...
