so i'm siitting in my room thinking about my life and it comes to me that as hard as i try everyone backs away, including my husband. and i feel so alone .isn't it so amazing that he does'nt understand still what bypolar is. love him so much, but since i have been dianosed he treets me different.,so not what i hoped for, think i'm done. life is so short. should i stay or should i go? that is the question. any feed back would be helpful.

Bipolar is hard on our loved ones as well as us... they often don't know how to help us and I'm sure feel helpless when we're ill

He won't understand what it's like to be bipolar unless he is bipolar..It's not within his experience..however he can empathize and educate himself..
Do you let him know what your needs are?... Have you asked him how he feels?

yes i try to tell him. the other day he was working all day, and i was manic seeing things. i called the hotline and they sent the whole police force, i;m not giving u full details but i was in the hosp. then releasednthe next day . he was so mad that i ruinded his day did'nt ask me if i was ok.

The only good things that happen to us will happen in life. Which is not to say that there isn't a lot of pain and sorrow along the way but we have to fight for the good things that make it all worthwhile. I was fortunate to learn at a young age that everyone has their problems and heartaches and I plan to hang on kicking a scratching as long as I can. Ii think it's interesting that the biggest problems in my life have come from other people, the ones who are intentionally mean or thoughtless or who plain don't get it. Let's not shed tears over them. People aren't worth it so let's live a good life in spite of them.
