Give the step daughter an early b-day present? Would it hurt? I burned Katy Perry's - One of the Boys for my little one and the step daughter has been wanting that CD for ages. So I was wondering. Would it hurt to give it to her as an early birthday present? I am testing it right now to see if it skips before I put it back in the case.

I think that would be really nice if you can afford it. I used to buy my girl stuff when it wasn't her b-day...it let's them know you are thinking about them.

Well it is pretty cheap for me right now just the cost of a blank cd. I have the cd so all I have to do is make her a copy of mine.

The last cd I gave her didn't get done till after her b-day so this should be quite the surprise.

it depends on when her birthday is....if it is a few days away then no harm, especially if there wont be a celebration for a few days after the party. we have to do this alot with our middle child since school activities usually make her birthday be a side thing and her party usually isnt until the weekend after her birthday

I would - I am bad at waiting to give presents. My kids get a bunch of presents from me though... I stock up well in advance.

I think you should...but only if you have a gift for her on her bday, if not, save it till then.

Hubby got her something for her birthday so I decided that since she will have presents on her birthday that I am going to give it to her before her birthday. She was so excited.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
