Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

The pdoc at php just started me on 50mg of seroquel 3 days ago. So far it just makes me pass out 2 to 3 hrs after i take it ( i take it at night so thats not a bad thing) then i feel drowsy in the morning. And I've noticed dry mouth.
I was on latuda for a little over a year and although it helped me mentally i was always tired and had no drive to do anything and thats not me. Plus it made me want to eat all the time and i thought i was doing so much better that i didnt need it anymore and the pdoc i went to didnt think i had bipolar without even looking at my other pdocs notes and tried to diagnose me in my first session with him.
Anyway, my question is does it work well? Does it make you gain weight or want to sleep all the time?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

If your Pdoc is seriously considering this as part of your BP Cocktail, I'd ask what his plans are for dosage increases, as your nowhere near the dose that's used for BiPolar.
I did gain about 40 pounds but that is slowly going away, just have to fight the urge to eat when your not hungry.
My moods are much more consistant and yes I do get angry and depressed but am trying to learn how to deal with it.
