By warring they still have a better chance of taking control again. This has worked many times except for E Germany and a couple of other countries I can't remember.

The British Guardian newspaper cites Middle Eastern sources placing the wealth of Mubarak and his family at somewhere between $40 billion and $70 billion. That's a pretty good pension for government work. The world's richest man--Mexican business magnate Carlos Slim--is worth about $54 billion, by comparison. Bill Gates is close behind, with a net worth of about $53 billion.

Yea basically he was crooked, a thief & stole from his people.. which is why they wanted him out - and if $70 bil is true he is by far the richest man in the world - waay more than Bill Gates. I think they should do what they did with Marcos in the Phillipines - He probably took US aid money as well - but of course ;-)

Most leaders loot the treasury then if they want the protection they hit up the US for protection and sometimes even come here to a democratic country.

They then blurt pro US slogans to get their followers to side with the USA which never works so when they divide the US has a hand in the mess. We then provide arms to our supposed friends.

Then first chance they get is they take total advantage of our weapons and switch sides.

Russia invaded Afganistan, we supported Saddam Hussein and the Afgan Freedom Fighters whom changed to become Al Queda.

Hitler was Man of the Year in our magazine Look or Life or something like that.
