Record Breaking Heat

I live in Las Vegas and we broke the record for today at 120 degrees.
I have to walk to work and back in it and it is so miserable.
I can't wait till summer is over

Thanks dd, I do carry water and should carry an umbrella but I don't.
My pdoc just told me that my meds make me extra sensitive to the sun
which was just horrible to hear, He said to carry an umbrella too.
I just dread the fact that we will have 3 more months of this hell.

Oh I feel for you Heretic..that's just awful!!

I'd def be walking with an umbrella to help keep the heat off your head!

I don't like summer either unless I can be near water which I am not so I don't like it at all! Spring and Fall are my favs!!

Ugh, girl you know I feel you on this one, Phoenix feels like hell right now. I'm sorry you have to walk to work, i hope its not too far. I agree with everyone cover up and drink tons of water.

This kind of heat is MISERABLE :( :(

I live in the nasty heat too and I want it to be over already. Cover up and wear sunscreen and lots of water like everyone is saying. Hope it is not to far. Take Care and try to stay cool.
