So right now my meds are being messed around with. My pdoc had tried me on risperdal after taking me off abilify (which I had been on for a good year or more). Turns out I can't afford risperdal, so she put me back on abilify (which is much more expensive than risperdal, but she provides me with samples).
My problem is that during this transition or whatever you want to call it, I keep going into horrible rages. I've screamed and yelled at people that may or may not have deserved it, I've thrown and broken things (including my 8 year old son's new birthday gift...thankfully I was able to fix it).
Just curious if there is anything you all can think of that can help me to get out of the rage when I feel it coming on? I've tried deep breathing, hot showers, journaling and attempting to remove myself from situations. But nothing seems to work! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've had major fights with my wife which hasn't happened in a longtime.
I almost threw my brand new Kodak printer through the wall because it wouldn't turn on. It would help if I hit the right button of course.
Sometimes I even punch myself in my nose which really hurtaholics.
