Do you feed a cold and starve the flu? I been vomiting twice and am not that hungry but been drinking fluids that don't seem to want to stay down. If i am supposed to starve the flu that means no meds for me today at least not until this vomiting is over anyway.

don't eat while your vomiting it can burn the lining of your throat, mouth and rot your teeth so starve the flu but drink plenty of fluids or you could end up in hospital. There is a special fluid you can buy that has a small amount of salt in it which needs to be replaced too especially as you're loosing it at both ends.

I probably wouldn't take my meds if I were throwing up constantly. Just be sure if you do take them, that you don't retake them if you throw up, because some of them could have entered your system and you don't want to overdose. Throwing up is the worst! Feel better soon! :)

Definitely starve the flu if you are vomiting. Just keep hydrated. Like Laura said, if you take your meds and vomit don't take them again because you could overdose since some of it is in your system.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
