I found it to be a rather well tolerated med.Never really had any side effects from it.Google it though and you will get the complete run down.:) I did have a jump in energy levels no jitters but I had alot more get up and go.

It made me very very restless and I was taken off of it for that reason.

I take 15mg/day, along w/ effexor xr and depakote. I haven't noticed any negative side effects. It seems to be one of the only a-typical antipsychotics that didn't give me negative side effects. Good luck, though, because as we know, we are all different in how things affect us.

i was on 20mg and after about a year and a half i started getting a twitch so we lowered it to 10mg and now im fine .. i never had any other side effects

No negative side effects for me. It's a really good med. I take 30mgs. It is not sedating and in fact can be more energizing. I have had good luck with it.

I felt wired and spaced out all the time, my sleep pattern was destroyed, and I had restlessness in my arms. So it didn't work for me.

it makes you manic and sexually permissive you get pregnant and have lots of babies...just kidding I am a guy an just know that the sexiest words to any guy are "I can't get pregnant"

I was on 20 mgs for 4 years until i started having mini strokes and they suggested i go off of it bc it causes strokes in the elderly. On a better med now anyway. Weight gain was neutral, no twitching or sweating. Didn't notice a thing

I was on 20 mg after a month. No sleep and major depressed. Hope all goes better for you!

The first two or three weeks I was restless and had some trouble sleeping, but we got that regulated. I take 25 mg and wouldn't trade Abilify for the world. It worked much better for me than the other anti-psychotic I was on.

i was on 30mg of abilify til about two weeks ago or so. i was then bumped up to 40mg. i don't think its working as good as it always did. but i been on it a long time now. maybe i do need another antipsychotic instead. hope not.will talk to dr tomorrow.

everyone is different with side affects. hopefully if you get any, they are small, and they then will fade on you. hope the abilify works good for you.

I just went off of 10 mg. of Abilify. I didn't have much luck. It made me sleep less, or not at all and also made me depressed. Keep in mind, all meds. work differeent people. My friend does fine on Abilify.
