I been off Zyprexa two weeks does the exhausted feeling go away?

I've not been on Zyprexa..... I've been feeling really tired I think due to the change of seasons in the works

We do acclimatize to med changes though.... Big hug...… Maybe just allow yourself a little more rest time right now......xo

I agree with Jan. Transitions can take a while, and though I know it's hard, you kind of have let it run it's course. I hope you can find some things that help you cope...peace

Zyprexa has a fairly long half-life, but your system has completely cleared the meds at 2 weeks. Is your Pdoc replacing it with something else?

It can take a while for your brain chemistry to adjust to the change. If you were exhausted/fatigued before the Zyprexa this may be a symptom of your BiPolar.

Now that its warming up, if you can get outside a few times a day in the SunShine and soak up some natural Vitamin D, that may help.

I was not exhausted till I stopped it. I’m on vraylar since dec.

Fatigue and unusual drowsiness are side effects of Vraylar, and as with most side effects they tend to lessen over time. Your body needs time to adjust to the new medication.

3 - 6 weeks is the general time frame to give a Psych med for adjusting.

I’ve been on Zyprexa for several years. The only issue I had when going off(with drs permission) was feeling depressed. But then he told me to start taking it agin. Most days I feel pretty tired anyway but I’ve learnes to live with its

I been on it for months. The vraylar. Upped the dose to 3 the end of January maybe it’s to high.

Maybe talk to your Pdoc about how and when your taking the Vraylar, so that its spread out through the day.
