I have had really bad experiences with the mental health system here in nz.......just wondering what others have experienced........i reckon they make things worse!!!

Never been admitted..........pretty weird for a BP I who has had 2 psychotic episodes.

The First one , I didn't know what was happening , just felt insane ...slept for days and came out of it on my own.

Second psychotic episode , my BF lived with me 24/7..my Pdoc gave my BF specific instructions on what to look for in crisis,, so I stayed home w the BF......BF cuddled me through that episode

This was January in Kentucky so it was like 20 degrees outside. The cold air poured in my window at night. The facility I was in was over 100 years old. I was tempted to jump a fence once and run to the bakery across the road so I could just smoke a cigarette. I swear I was coming back. hee hee
