Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Unless you guys like to rant about your druggie days.
what am i hurting ?
stop reading if you dislike ??
i think i can pretty much post about anything. EVERYONE else does yeah.
music, whats that got to do with bipolar ?
vegetarianism ... whats that got to do with bipolar?
poetry contests ? ?
GO hate on their posts too :) :) :) :) thanks babe
drug addiction can be bi polar related. Many beepers have drug history. I think it's important to discuss drug use and it's long term consequences.
Not being hateful mush but since you asked you could be hurting your self. You are playing with chemicals in your brain. Legal or not legal has nothing to do with it. It is what it is.
Also just be aware this could be a trigger for some one else so even if it was unintentional some one could get hurt by reading this. Some one who is maybe struggling with drug use.
I'm fine I am strong in my choice to be clean but having been on the other side I know what it's like to struggle with an addiction.
What kind of asshole would I be if I didn't at least warn you? I know you aren't stupid but I was arrogant when I started using drugs. I didn't respect them for what they really were.
I won't nag you again after this. You are a big girl and can make choices for your self. No one can make that choice for you. But a friend will tell you the truth not what you only want to hear.
i dont however appreciate people just posting negative shit on here without even anything constructive when all they had to do was click back off and continue on with their day.
i have a friend who did acid and has never come back from his "trip"...very sad to see.
be careful mush...(((((hugs))))
As for cigarettes, they should be banned, and after alcoholism, jumped on the wagon and happy to never have fallen off in 32 years.
Young and foolish is my opinion. Self medicating with drugs doesn't work. That is what addictions are about in bipolar. Trying to control the disease with uncontrolled substances, or liquor. Been there, done that. It never worked, got me in horrendous trouble, and made me more and more depressed. Oh yes, and a few psychotic breaks somewhere in there.
It is not about laws, it is about getting you doing stuff which will only bring you down. It felt good, sure. In the 60's, we used to say, "if it feels good, do it." How stupid could we have been? It was a media saying, and it was wrong.
Find your own identity, explore nature straight and you will find a beautiful world. As for peace on drugs - an artificial peace does not last. That is what you experienced. A counterfeit and I promise you it will beg you for more, and get worse and worse.
I am so glad you posted. It helps me remember why I got out of all that, and how I am so much happier, peaceful and fulfilled without drugs.
the say no to drugs chant is going round and round. how very effective.
i
am.
not. going to turn
into some skanky drug addict because i took a mild pschedelic drug that happened to be really nice am i ? ? no because i have more self-control and more respect for myself than that.
i did this because i wanted and i knew what i was doing.
these lectures are putting a brick wall up man all i can say is
let me be a fool.
I remember reading life magazine when I was 10 about LSD and deciding I wanted to do it. It was pure propaganda. That is what this post is about. Trying to convince people who are mentally ill that the answer lies in taking psychedelic drugs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIsou0IRIQU
propaganda indeed i totally made this post to persuade all of these mentally ill people into taking drugs wow. im such a bad person
i merely explained my experience because i have nowhere else to talk about it.
if you can point out somewhere along the line at which point i SUGGESTED PEOPLE TAKE THIS. then your point would be valid however.
if you've interpretted my post in that way then that is your problem darling.
i'd love to put you on ignore but i dont really think that would do much.
You did not warn anyone of triggers.
You were selfish enough to post this for what??? To advocate drug use???
We have enough problems enough as it is, don't you know this? How old are you???
Isn't there a teenager BP board?
how is explaining a POSITIVE experience triggering ?
i think the title clearly would explain what my post is about if you didnt want to read it then you shouldnt have
and anyone who KNOWS they get triggered by drug related issues wouldn't click on a thread called "PSYCHEDELIC DRUG EXPERIENCE" unless of course they enjoy being triggered and enjoy moaning about it and enjoy making a drama for no reason.
my age is irrelevent. VERY irrlevent infact. bringing it up is just ageist and is completely immature of you. what is your problem like what have i done i just dont understand at all HAHAHA.
