I did have a big long rant about this. But all I'm going to say is, terrorist's think the same way. So look forward to wearing a burka because there are still too many women who think we deserve to be raped because of the way you dressed. I know women who were raped that were wearing normal every day clothes. I know a woman that was jogging in the park all sweaty in a sweat suit that got raped, she wasn't real attractive either. Also every rapist knows you rape old ladies because hell she's old and know one will believe her any way! So Maybe the do have a point after all we all need to wear a burka from now on so rest assured when you are raped they can not say it was because of the way you were dressed! Personally I don't know how you are going to drive a care but I take the bus so I don't have to worry about that.
I could also add something about cultures where women do not wear tops of any kinds, and how they don't get blamed for being raped because their boobs hang out all the time. But I think you can figure the rest out for your self.

Yes there are men who will rape no matter what. They are messed up. Now walking around half naked does not help no - I mean biologically yes men are attracted to (well most men) the naked female form. Someone dressed in very loose non-revealing clothes will not get the same attention as someone dressed like a porn star/stripper - that's common sense. Now to say she asked for it - a gang rape of many boys/men, um no.. She didn't. That's sad.
Women need to stand up especially for each other! As A woman I will not tolerate it!
I think most of us will agree on this topic. ;) still I know that this could be an issue because you just never know who is a victim of rape.
I have been raped and the guy wanted sex.
We were having a normal conversation when he suddenly jumped me and started so quick I didn't know what was going on and was frozen in complete shock. Didn't hurt me physically a bit. didn't beat me as he didn't need to - he was so much bigger me and so much stronger and I was too shocked to fight. It was all over so fast.
I think rape can be about sex, sex plus violence, just violence or lots of other reasons. Its too simplistic to say what it is or isn't.
my rapist didn't hate me. he wanted to be my friend before and afterwards. he used his strength to take sex without asking.
he couldn't understand that I was not happy about being raped and I was afraid of him afterwards and got the police to tell him to keep away from me and my house.

I am of the opinion that is is NEVER a woman or girl's fault they are raped.
young girls do not understand this issue about clothing, they just blindly follow fashion and try to rebel. so they can not be told.
Howcome men can restrain themselves from raping everyone at the beach and the pool when they are wearing less clothing than the slutty stuff??

It is a cultural think men are acting like animals and then every one forgives them for it. And then other men pat them on the back. Its called the good old boys club. Or pond scum.
Also Not that all rape victims arent warped but I think yours was even worse of than most. But none of them realize you didn't ask for it or want it. They all believe you did in some way its part of their warped and demented minds .
All though yes there are those that just hate women and rape them for that reason alone.
but it is not completely about sex even though you would think that. Some actually have fantasies and believe that you will fall in love with them after ward (all though that is rare) And when that fails they for some reason repeat it on a different woman expecting a different result. It is a vicious cycle. There is no excuse for what they are doing but they are truly sick individuals.
I'm not sure there is enough counseling in the world to help them. If you read the psychology of rapists it explains the different types and what their mind set is.
