My cats are like my kids, I call them my 2 boys. They have been, at times, my reason for making it through the day. How could I leave them? They would be just as devastated as my human family, but would be left with no explanation. I love my boys so much.

Love my fur babies! My Roxy had such a wonderful way sensing when I just needed to know I wasn't alone. She came in to my life at one of the darkest points of my life. I was blessed to have her for 11 years. I lost her to cancer almost two years ago. I think she stuck around long enough to know I would be okay without her. I miss her every day! Are other family dogs are now presently living with my sister I love them and I love having them around, but living with her and my brother-in-law are so much better for my doggies. We rescued a pitbull in February. I love Chica she is so much different than Roxy! Not always easy because I can't really walk her myself and she's often home alone. My brother is great with her and I'm hoping when we move to Texas we can get something more suitable for her and he can help take care of her. She is a love and for being a big 50 pound dog can be very affectionate and snuggly and I feel a connection to her similar to Roxy. As you can see I am quite passionate about mental health and animals, lol!

Absolutely! I have two dogs and I can't picture my life without them. They always know when I'm down and comfort me in those times. They're a big part of why I get up every morning. They bring me so much happiness and love me no matter what. Love my dogs!

Oh my yes! Over the years my dogs have helped me tremendously. Presently the old boy I have now is just the sweetest :) He brightens my day!

I have 2 wonderful pet ratties, they show me love & make me giggle everyday, I couldn't imagine my life without them.

My pup knows when I'm feeling down and empathizes with me -- or at least I think she does! She'll come to my side and just be still and quiet with me as I work through whatever challenge has come my way.

As does my kittenface. She's just as understanding and won't cry for food or cuddles if I'm down and out.

My dog and I are sadly co-dependent upon each other he gets REALLY depressed and I get slightly anxious

They are awesome little beings that add so much goodness to life... I really feel for people that don't 'get' animals they're sure missing a wonderment of life

I don't remember much about my life before our two dogs came into our life!! Hubby and I argued more before the dogs came, and I think we get along a lot better since the dogs came along. So an added bonus....
